Markus first discovered yoga in 2005, while looking for a fitness complement to intense outdoor activities such as running, rock climbing, and mountaineering. He was simply amazed by the multitude of health benefits and the better mind/body awareness that a regular yoga practice would bring in every moment, and circumstance.
He started on the yoga path by exploring Sivananda, Power and Hot Yoga that he practiced for a couple of years. At some point he decided to deepen his practice and discovered the magic of Ashtanga, Yin and Iyengar Yoga.
Markus always brings enthusiasm and humor in his classes. Whenever it is possible, he likes adding a hint of vigorous yet meditative flow in his teaching.
